Award of the Portuguese Association of Osteoporosis
The Ukrainian Association of Osteoporosis is actively cooperating with the international associations working in the field and holding joint scientific forums.
In June 21-22, 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal, the first Joint International Conference of the Ukrainian and Portuguese Associations of Osteoporosis was held.
The report on sarcopenia in the Ukrainian women (V.V. Povoroznyuk, N.I. Dzerovych) was recognized as the best at the conference.
Prof. Vladyslav Volodymyrovych Povoroznyuk was chosen as the Honorary Member of the the Portuguese Association of Osteoporosis.
The Ukrainian delegation took part in the International Working Meeting on the Vitamin D Deficiency and Insufficiency held in the Portuguese capital.

In May 3, 2018, the Regional Scientific-Practical Conference with the International Participation on ‘Diagnostics and Therapy of Non-Infectious Diseases in the Outpatient Practice’ was held in Grodno, Belarus. At the Conference, Prof. Vladyslav Volodymyrovych Povoroznyuk was awarded the title of Professor Emeritus of the Grodno State Medical University and obtained a diploma and medal for his achievements by the University.
