The conference included lectures on the Vitamin D deficit diagnostics, prophylaxis and treatment, discussion of recent findings on Vitamin D influencing the human health.

The key issues considered were: Vitamin D status in children and adolescents; classical and non-classical Vitamin D role; genome aspects of Vitamin D; Vitamin D’s role in the endocrine, cardiovascular, neurological, autoimmune, and oncological conditions, osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia, respiratory infections, skin conditions; features of laboratory diagnostics, Vitamin D deficit; role of nutrition in prophylaxis of Vitamin D deficit; treatment of Vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency.

The Conference invited speakers who were opinion leaders, scientists and physicians from the UAE, Middle East, the USA, Serbia, and Ukraine.
